After many years as an interior stylist and journalist, Maureen Collins longed to create a quirky lifestyle shop inspired by the type of shops she loved visiting in The Marais district in Paris and The Meatpackers/village area of New York. She wanted to showcase all the unusual finds that she previously sourced for private clients, the make-or-break touches that can really finish a scheme or look and add that truly individual look.

Jacob Street is a mix of vintage, one-off and specially commissioned pieces but all at affordable prices.

Maureen offers an interior styling consultancy service and believes that anyone can mix a few standout pieces into any decor or style and that one or two unusual items can really complement and enrich high street items whether you are wearing them or living with them.
