Home pop-up restaurant has found a permanent home! The glass-fronted deli/café/restaurant still has the 'discount zebras' sign and all the quirk and personality of the pop-up location - but with extra treats of a deli take-away and now it's licensed!
Much more than just a restaurant – bring some tasty Home goodies back to work for lunch or have your coffee meeting in the dining area at the front – flooded with natural light!
With a downtown New York feel right bang in the centre of Belfast – the Sugahfix gals have been for dinner with friends and lunch with the girls. It's the perfect place for a lush lunch on a Saturday in between shopping – we love!
We can highly recommend the veggie dips, pitta and humus (£5) as a shared starter, the superfood salad with chicken (£5 small £5 large + £1.50 for chicken) is deeelish for lunch and the salt & pepper hake with salad, cumin peas the ah-may-zing chips (£9.50) are a must for dinner.
Lobster is in season at the moment and it's an absolute treat - grilled Lobster, béarnaise Sauce, crunchy fennel salad & fries (£12.50 Whole £22) – sweet tasty sensation!
Now we're always up for dessert at any time of the day so treat yourself to the chocolate fondant – a perfectly sized portion of melting chocolate pudding served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream – the ideal amount to round off your meal with something sweet. The coffee panna cotta, frosted hazelnuts and salted caramel sauce (£5.50) got the thumbs up too but Sugah hubby didn't want to share so we didn't get to taste it *weeps * but then again we weren't for sharing our choc fondant either!
No matter what you order – make sure you get a bowl of chips – they are fabulous!
Open Monday to Saturday – closed on Sundays.
