If Adam Richman from Man V's Food came to Belfast, his first point of call would be Bubbacue. A pop-up American style BBQ joint of epic proportions – Bubbacue is really, really good. The Sugahfix gals love our grub and along with our office buddies the iONistas we destroyed a lunch of pulled-pork, brisket and spicy sausage in soft bap slathered with sauce and the most unreal coleslaw ever! We had no idea coleslaw could be so moreish!

Chic, cosy, contemporary and as ecologically green as the rolling hills it is set amidst, we've found a fabulous bolt-hole and holiday home in the newly-opened 4-star Drumlin Lane holiday cottages in Hillsborough.
The landscape that these two new self-catering holiday homes is set in is stunning - it's hard to believe that just a 30 minute drive from the centre of Belfast lie the green fields of surrounding Hillsborough. There are amazing views from the upstairs bedrooms even taking in the Mourne Mountains.

Knitwear designer Sinéad Crilly learnt her love of the craft at her granny's knee.
"My granny, Olive, was big into sewing and knitting and she still is," says Sinéad. She taught me, and when I was age six or seven I used to hand-knit small things like table centres and scarves for dolls. It paid off because when I went to university I could understand it all, I knew what every needle was for, even though the knitting was done on a machine."
After leaving school Sinéad went straight to study fashion design at the Belfast UU campus, foregoing a Foundation Year course. "I did all aspects of art A Level but the course didn't touch on fashion, so I wanted to go straight into it." she explains. "I loved the technical side of the course, making your own fabric rather than moulding it into a shape." So when it came to specialise, it was a no-brainer for Sinéad to focus on knitwear.

It's summer time and if you haven't got a holiday booked you might be getting itchy feet. Glasgow is by no means the Mediterranean but with daily flights from Belfast, and loads of interesting things to do and see once you're there, it will definitely scratch that itch if you're just looking to escape from home for a few days. 2012 is the Year of Creative Scotland so it's the perfect time to visit.
