Newry's got a new look and whole new confidence!

Sugahfix Editor Katrina Doran – a Newry-girl born and bred showcases her home city's most fabulous fashion with a colour pop fashion shoot that shows Newry bathed in sunshine, vibrant, fun, exciting and ready and raring to go for the Spring Summer fashion season with a week of highly anticipated fashion events in April.

Shot on location around the city Newry is full of colourful buildings – see if you can spot them! From the bright red exterior of McSwiggan's bar to the yellow wall featured in the campaign image – it's Basin Walk Garage! Other locations include Newry Tennis Courts (pictured left) and Down's Páirc Esler.

The photoshoot is just the beginning of a celebration of style and new season fashion with a week of fabulous events right across the city showcasing the latest trends in fashion, hair, make up and beauty this spring.

Events include a stunning opening catwalk show highlighting the best of spring/summer fashion on Sunday 10th April, a whole host of fringe events taking place in venues across the city rounding off with Newry's Most Stylish Awards on Sunday 17th April.

'Newry Style City' will open with the most exciting catwalk extravaganza ever hosted in the city in Bellini's on Sunday 10th April from 7pm-10pm. The ultimate night out for anyone with an interest in fashion, the fashion show will bring spring/summer trends to a new level. With an array of exhibitors you can also purchase accessories, designer shoes, handbags, jewellery and clothes straight from the catwalk, get style advice from the experts and try out the latest makeup and hairstyling available. This opening event promises to set the tone for a truly fabulous week. Cocktails, canapés, catwalk and packed goodie bags make this the perfect girlie night out.
