River Island have just announced an exclusive collaboration with Rihanna who will be designing her first clothing collection for River Island. which will hit stores in Spring 2013.

Speaking about the collaboration Rihanna said 'I've been wanting to design my own collection for some time. River Island is the perfect partner for me to collaborate with and working with a British, family run business also really appealed to me. I find London really inspiring and River Island loves to have fun with clothes. I'm looking forward to working with them and creating something really special.'

While we'll have to wait until next year to get our hands on some RiRi designed duds – we've found love in River Island's AW collection which we think Rihanna would rock!

We swooned over this amazingly colourful faux fur collar (pictured left) at the River Island AW press day last week in Dublin.

As a lover of ink we think Rihanna would look uber cool tattoo-style oriential dragon top and 90s style embelleished baseball cap.

Floral print is still in for AW and the Bajan Babe would know how to rock up this brocade tulip skirt with a leather jacket – hot!

Rihanna's capsule collection will launch in Spring 2013 exclusively at River Island.
